The HR Generalist will provide support on various HR functions within the company including recruitment, onboarding and orientation, training, employee relations, benefits administration and payroll. The candidate will obtain their designated official certification and be responsible for administering the staff security clearances. Our client will sponsor the candidate on this after employment has begun. The HR Generalist will implement HR policies, procedures and programs, while collaborating with management on a variety of HR tasks and outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Oversee onboarding and orientation for new staff that have been hired.
Manage employee attendance and leave records, including vacation tracking and accurate payroll reporting and reconciliation.
Responsible for employee relations which includes addressing employee issues, conducting investigations and managing employee and management relations.
Qualifications:
A university degree in business administration, commerce, or other relevant disciplines.
Minimum of 5 years experience as a well-rounded Human Resources Generalist in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Payroll Systems.
