Northlands College is seeking a Coordinator of Indigenous Initiatives in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. Candidates will have a post-secondary diploma in a related field (minimum) and at least two years of relevant experience in Indigenous education, community engagement, or a related area. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with the College.
The Coordinator of Indigenous Initiatives is an in-scope position reporting to the Vice President, Student Services & Engagement. This role plays a pivotal part in advancing Northlands Colleges Indigenization Strategy by fostering meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities and embedding Indigenous knowledge, culture, and ways of knowing throughout the College.
The coordinator will provide guidance, coordinate Indigenous programming and cultural engagement, and promote reconciliation through strategic initiatives and inclusive practices.
