As a compassionate and knowledgeable Radiation Therapist I you would be a member of a supportive, patient centered, and committed team responsible for preparing, planning and delivering accurate and precise ionizing radiation treatments to cancer patients according to the prescription of a Radiation Oncologist. The Radiation Therapist I report to the Provincial Leader or Site Manager of Radiation Therapy with daily work functions supervised by a Radiation Therapist II.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education:- Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Radiation Therapy
- Certification for Basic Life Saver (BLS)-C
Memberships:- Licensed with Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (SAMRT)
- Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
Experience:- No previous experience
Skills:- Proficiency with a variety of computer systems and software applications.
- Ability to perform a range of Radiation Therapy methods and processes including treatment planning, simulation and treatment.
