QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
- Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP)
- Advanced Wound Care Certificate is an asset
License:
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Experience:
- Three years fulltime experience as a Registered Nurse
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Pharmacotherapeutic intervention skills within RN (NP) scope
- Diagnostic intervention skills within RN (NP) scope
- Therapeutic intervention skills relevant to RN (NP) practice
- Health assessment skills within RN (NP) scope
- Knowledge of applicable best practices and principles
- Knowledge of health promotion for wound healing and wound healing techniques
- Competent critical thinking, judgement, and autonomous decision-making capabilities
- Ability to apply research to nursing practice
- Demonstrated responsible decision-making through application of critical thinking
- Communication skills to provide and obtain verbal and written opinions/advice
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to accept and implement change
