Description

SaskBuilds and Procurement supports Saskatchewans Growth Plan by managing infrastructure, procurement, property, facilities, logistics, and IT services. The Property Management team is hiring a Building Operator in Saskatoon to ensure safe, efficient, and comfortable facilities for clients and staff. We seek a motivated, service-oriented individual who can supervise staff, work independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Candidates should hold a Firemans Boiler Operator Certificate and Refrigeration Engineer Certificate or a 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate, plus at least two years of experience in building maintenance, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Knowledge of DDC controls is an asset. A valid drivers license is required. The ideal candidate is flexible, organized, and a problem solver with knowledge of building repair, maintenance standards, and safe equipment operation. Ability to work in physically demanding conditions is essential. Responsibilities include responding to client requests, performing minor repairs and preventative maintenance on building systems, operating equipment, lawn care, snow removal, security procedures, and supervising staff.
