Overview
The Saskatchewan Research Councils (SRC) Rare Earth Element Division has a career opportunity for a Journeyperson Plumber to support the construction and commissioning of SRCs Rare Earth Processing Facility. This position is a 12-month term.
Accountabilities
Install process piping for heating, water, process fluids, and drainage systems for SRCs Rare Earth Processing Facility
Interpret drawings, 3D models, and specifications to determine installation layout and required materials
Create task specific material lists
Participate in commissioning and testing of piping systems and process equipment
Work collaboratively with a team of engineers, technologists, and tradespersons, coordinating with other trades to complete tasks safely and efficiently
Qualifications
Certification as a Red Seal Journeyperson Plumber is required
Proven experience in industrial and/or commercial plumbing
Valid Class 5 drivers license
Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) and Fall Protection certificate is an asset

Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team or independently, taking initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision
The chosen candidate will be required to provide an original Criminal Record Check that is satisfactory to SRC prior to the commencement of any employment duties. The Criminal Record Check must have been executed within the preceding 30 days of receipt.
