Salary or Pay Band:  Pay Band Physical Therapist - Degree Senior $43.402 to $53.195

Job Description: Reporting to the Manager/Rehabilitation Coordinator, the Senior Therapist is responsible for the planning, development, organization and delivery of therapy services within the framework of the interdisciplinary team. The Senior Therapist provides training, coaching, mentoring and guidance to staff therapists and other team members. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement". HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.


Human Resources Exemption: No


Education
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy recognized by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
- Must be licensed by the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists and be eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with preference given to those experienced in the rehabilitation of post-surgical orthopedic conditions of the upper extremity, lower extremity, and spine.

Knowledge, Skills
- Knowledge related to researching, developing, and implementing post-operative orthopedic protocols for the treatment of the upper extremity, lower extremity and spine is an asset.
- Additional training in the treatment of various musculoskeletal conditions is of value.
