Description

Position Summary
The ReStore Manager oversees the daily operations of Habitat for Humanity Saskatchewans ReStore, a nonprofit retail store that generates revenue to support affordable homeownership. This role provides leadership across store operations, staff and volunteer management, inventory control, financial oversight, and community engagement. The ReStore Manager ensures a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment while upholding Habitats mission, values, and policies.

Skillset
- Retail operations and inventory management
- Donor, vendor, and community relationship building
- Staff and volunteer scheduling, supervision, and performance development
- Policy implementation, confidentiality, and compliance
- Cash handling, reconciliation, and basic financial oversight
- Sales analysis, pricing strategies, and loss prevention
- Collaboration with marketing to support promotions and campaigns
- Community outreach, partnerships, and event participation
- Health, safety, and security protocol enforcement
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
- Proficiency with POS systems, retail software, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to analyze sales and inventory data to inform decisions

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education is an asset
- 23 years of retail management, customer service, or team leadership experience preferred
- Forklift or skid steer certification is an asset
- Understanding of basic financial principles and health and safety standards

Work Conditions
Full-time position with occasional evenings and weekends
Limited travel for donation pickups or community events
Physical work including standing and lifting merchandise
