Description

PWM Hydraulics is a hydraulic cylinder manufacturer. We are currently looking for a permanent full-time based individual in our Yorkton Plant.

We pride ourselves in producing high quality custom cylinders to meet our customers needs, from our in-house engineering design to the finished product being delivered on our customers specified schedule. Our focus is providing this service to agricultural, mining, industrial, oil & gas, as well as the transportation sector to help them achieve more productivity and profit.

We are looking to hire a motivated & hard-working Mechanical Assembler in our Yorkton plant. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assemble, fit, and install components of hydraulic cylinders
- Use hand and power tools to align and adjust parts for proper fit
- Interpret job orders, drawings, and work instructions
- Verify dimensions using measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures
- Operate hoists or lifting devices to position larger components
- Use automated or robotic-assisted equipment as required
- Identify and report assembly or product issues
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of tools and equipment
- Maintain accurate workmanship to meet quality standards
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing or assembly processes
- Experience in assembly, machining, or welding environments considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience working in an ISO quality-controlled environment preferred
- Must live in Canada and have permission to work in Canada
