Description

Action Restoration Services is a locally owned restoration company based in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, with over 25 years of experience serving our community. We operate in a fast-paced, on-call environment, providing timely and professional mitigation services while maintaining strong relationships with customers, insurers, and industry partners. We are seeking a motivated leader to oversee and grow our mitigation division while upholding our high service standards.

The Mitigation Manager oversees all mitigation operations for insurance restoration projects, including water damage, fire and smoke cleanup, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and contents handling. This role provides leadership to field teams, manages multiple projects, ensures compliance with industry standards, and serves as a liaison between technicians, customers, management, and insurance representatives.

Key Responsibilities
Manage mitigation projects from emergency response through completion
Conduct site inspections, damage assessments, and mitigation planning
Ensure compliance with IICRC standards, safety regulations, and company procedures
Supervise, train, schedule, and mentor mitigation staff
Monitor timelines, production efficiency, and job quality
Coordinate with insurance adjusters and review scopes, estimates, and documentation
Ensure accurate reporting, photo documentation, and moisture mapping
Communicate clearly with customers and resolve issues professionally
Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response services

Qualifications
3+ years of mitigation or restoration management experience
Strong knowledge of water, fire, mold, asbestos, and contents services
Experience with insurance claims and documentation
Proven leadership and organizational skills
Valid drivers license

Preferred: IICRC certs, OH&S training, Xactimate experience
