Job Description: The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Saskatchewan Health Authority. As a member of the Nursing Department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Education- Emergency Nursing Certificate
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Other Education and Training- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
Other Information- These positions have been created in an effort to proactively recruit staff to Prince Albert Victoria Hospital in advance of operationalizing the new facility. As such, this position will be supernumerary for a period of time and may be floated to other units in accordance with Article 45.01 (a).
