Summary of Position

This posting is for a Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant at McKitrick Community School, to commence January 5, 2026 (1.0 FTE) and have a contract end date of June 30, 2025.  Position hours are six (6) hours daily.  Monday through Friday.  

Qualifications

Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. The successful applicant will support core subject areas in both small groups and in the classroom
