What you'll do:
To be responsible for the management, maintenance, and security of the store location and property while providing operational direction and oversight in the implementation of programs and policies.
To oversee adherence to brand and merchandising standards, image standards, safety, and asset protection within the Hardware and Lumber Departments
To be responsible to prepare, administer, and achieve budgeted goals as it relates to the pricing, sales, margins, expenses, and inventory of the commodity.
To provide leadership to the team, including the recruitment, goal setting, performance management, training and development of team members.
To be responsible for building strong customer relationships and delivering solutions and to oversee and monitor client satisfaction levels.
Responsible for leading the development and implementation of sales/marketing strategies.
Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with regular customers and contractors.
Who you are:
If you are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and have:
Understanding of lumber products and processes.
Experience in the sales, quote estimation, retail, hardware, or material industry
6-9 years of relevant experience, including 3 years of leadership experience.
Valid Class 5 drivers License
Knowledge of commodity sales, gross margin and inventory management
You are honest and trustworthy and have the proven ability to motivate and lead Team members
You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
