Position Summary
The Job Developer/ Employment Liaison is responsible for developing, building, and maintaining a wide network of employers to secure job shadowing and experiential learning opportunities (ELOs) for program participants. This role involves advocating for participants by showcasing their skills, prior professional experience, and educational background to employers, ultimately creating opportunities for participants to gain hands-on experience within their field in the Canadian labor market.
During the job shadowing and ELOs phase, the Job Developer/Employer Liaison supports employers by facilitating communication with participants and addressing any issues that may arise to ensure these opportunities are sustainable.
