We are expanding our staff team with two new full-time position! Support Workers are an integral part of the Wahkohtowin Program staff team. They guide, support and assist residents with their recovery goals and holistic wellness plans. They are under the direct supervision of the Program Manager and work in consultation with the program ICMs and Nurse Team Leaders. The are responsible for providing services including helping with meals, medication, appointments, and planning/running programming. Ideal candidates will have experience working with homelessness and/or vulnerable people and will have good crisis de-escalation skills and a strong understanding of harm reduction and trauma-informed care. Must have a Saskatchewan Class 5 driver's license and valid First Aid/CPR certificate.
Shift work required, combination (one week of day shifts 8am-4:30pn, one week of evening shifts 3-11:30pm Monday-Friday). We will also be hiring for casual support staff, with shifts available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
