Description

Duties and Responsibilities:  
GGFN is seeking an enthusiastic individual who will be responsible for overseeing the development of the Comprehensive Community Based Plan. This position requires a broad skillset and the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all departments, community groups (e.g. Elders, youth, members living in and outside the community), and partners, as the Nation enhances and implements the plan. The ideal candidate would also bring a genuine interest in learning more about community planning and a passion for improving the quality of life for all members, etc.

Skills and Qualifications:  
Degree in Business Administration and/or equivalent education and
experience may be considered.
Five (5) years of direct work experience in a management role, with proven
community evolution is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player to
effectively interact with other GGFN members, departments, Chief and
Council, service providers, and local government agencies and officials.  
Strong oral and written communication skills.  
Proposal writing experience and ability to conduct research.
Exceptional organization and time-management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.  
Highly motivated and ability to work in fast paced work environment.  
Understanding George Gordon First Nation cultural beliefs and customs.
Strong computer skills, including ability to efficiently utilize Microsoft Office.
Possess a valid Saskatchewan class five (5) drivers license.
Applicants must provide a criminal record and vulnerable sector checks.

Salary will be based on experience, training, and education. This one (1)-year full time temporary position with possibility of extension that reports directly to the Director of Operations. Refer to website for full job posting.
