Saskatoon Public Schools invites applications from individuals interested in temporary full-time Library Technician positions at the Collegiate level. The Library Technician assists the Teacher Librarian in the development, organization and maintenance of a collection of print and non-print library materials and audiovisual equipment in a school Learning Resource Centre (LRC). The Library Technician supports students and staff by helping to ensure the LRC is an effective, organized and welcoming learning environment.

Applicants for this position must possess Grade 12 or equivalent and have successfully completed a formal Library Technician training program. A minimum of six months of previous related experience is preferred.

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, along with strong organizational and research abilities. Applicants must have strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, internet searching and library databases, and the ability to work independently in a self-directed manner.
