The Property Tax Assistant provides essential administrative support to the assessment department, ensuring accurate property records and efficient tax processes. This role requires strong organizational skills, data management proficiency, and attention to detail. Reports to the Tax Assessor, contributing to transparent municipal services at R.M. of Corman Park.

Duties:
Applies technical skills for complex tax assessment functions, data handling, and process optimization
Supports detailed assessment preparation, taxation analysis, and regulatory compliance
Interprets data for accurate property records, tax calculations, and reporting
Responsibilities:
Day-to-day administrative support to assessment department
Assist Tax Assessor with assessment/taxation preparation
Execute tax searches and certificates
Maintain property records/databases (ownership changes)
Track/input new subdivisions, TIPPS, client mortgages, school declarations
Backup Tax Assessor during absences
Respond professionally to property owner inquiries
Coordinate tax enforcement compliance files
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
