The Ministry of Community Safety is responsible for overseeing Saskatchewan's correctional system and facilities, providing the safe and secure custody of adult and youth offenders and delivering programs that promote safety and reduce re-offending.

Facility Youth Workers are professionals who work directly with youth offenders aged 12 to 17, holding them accountable and supporting positive change in their lives while maintaining the safe and secure operation of the facility.
