Shift Information: Days, Monday - Friday, 9:00-15:30
Anticipated Start Date: January 26, 2026

Who we are: The Hospice at Glengarda, an Emmanuel Health organization, provides end-of-life care to patients. Situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, the Hospice has fifteen individual rooms, providing 24-hour care for people requiring full-time, hands-on care in light of advancing, end-stage illness. In tradition of Catholic social justice teaching and service, we respond to the unmet needs of the vulnerable and the communities we serve through compassionate innovative service and partnerships.

What you will do: You are an essential member of the Hospice interdisciplinary team, responsible for supporting daily operations by providing clerical, scheduling, reception, and administrative services. In this role you support patients, families, staff, volunteers, and leadership in maintaining a home-like, compassionate, and efficient care environment. In addition, you ensure accurate flow of information, maintains clinical and administrative systems, supports onboarding/offboarding processes, and ensures supplies, schedules, and communication tools are maintained.

Who you are: You are a graduate from a recognized business or office administration program. You have a minimum two years of office experience, preferably in a health care environment with experience in scheduling systems and EHR platforms, as well as knowledge of hospice and palliative care. You are excellent at organizing and multitasking, with strong administrative skills and proficiency with Microsoft programs. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with professionalism, while managing sensitive information. You are a compassionate individual, who works with a patient-centered approach consistent with Catholic social teachings
