Description

OVERVIEW:

SUPERVISOR'S DUTIES:

-Plant turnarounds (Whitecap Resources) May through October
-Treaters, tanks, field group separator cleanout and maintenance  
-Plant Battery upgrades and maintenance
-New site battery builds        

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Journey person certificate in a relevant field preferred knowledge of Pipe fitting
Preferably 8+ years of hands-on industry related experience, with 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience preferred

SAFETY:

Lead and participate in morning toolbox talks, monthly safety meetings and safety stand-downs as required, encouraging all individuals to participate and voice any safety concerns
Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of OH&S requirements
Demonstrate safety leadership and excellence, encouraging crews to participate meaningfully in the safety management program  
Report all incidents and participate in investigations as required

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Strong coordination, scheduling and organization skills, as well as an ability to efficiently organize and direct work
Experience in project planning, execution (construction realities) with management
Good working knowledge of all construction disciplines
Ability to engage and drive crew towards project completion
Must have the ability to work within strict deadlines and under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor
Appropriate computer skills, which may include Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Acorn, ETC.
A willingness to be available via phone/email outside of regular business hours
A valid driverss license with a clean driving abstract (5G endorsement would be considered an asset)
Ability to have knowledge to run a crew truck with knuckle picker
