Herauf Modular is seeking a dedicated professional to lead housing initiatives within Indigenous communities throughout the year. This role is focused on building long-term, trust-based relationships and supporting the delivery of modular housing and engineered skid foundation systems in regions where housing needs are urgent and complex.
The successful candidate will work closely with Indigenous leadership, housing authorities, and government partners to plan, fund, and implement practical housing solutions that respect community priorities, cultural values, and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between Herauf Modular and Indigenous communities across Canada, with a strong focus on year-round engagement
Support communities in identifying housing needs and appropriate modular or skid system solutions
Assist with navigating government funding programs, housing incentives, and infrastructure grants relevant to Indigenous housing
Collaborate with internal project management, engineering, and construction teams to ensure community needs are reflected in project delivery
Support early planning stages including feasibility discussions, site considerations, and infrastructure constraints
Participate in community meetings, consultations, and presentations in a culturally respectful and collaborative manner
Build long-term partnerships that support repeat projects and sustainable housing strategies
Qualifications and Experience
Experience working with Indigenous communities, housing authorities, or related organizations
Strong understanding of community housing challenges, infrastructure limitations, and funding structures
Familiarity with government housing programs, incentives, or grants is a strong asset
Background in housing, construction, community development, planning, or related fields
