Description

The Ministry of Social Services is seeking a Resource Supervisor in Child and Family Services for the Prince Albert office. We are looking for a collaborative leader who can supervise, coach, and support resource staff while fostering a respectful and empowering work environment. You will monitor quality of care practices, lead change initiatives, and ensure effective service delivery within work units and with partner agencies. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work flexible hours and travel.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work from an accredited university (approved by CASSW) combined with previous supervisory experience in Child and Family Programs. Knowledge of child welfare legislation, policy implementation, and budget management is critical.

Responsibilities include supervising and training staff, implementing policies and procedures, managing budgets, liaising with ICFS agencies, and representing the ministry on committees. You will work closely with the regional management team to support continuous improvement and positive service outcomes.
