- Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Knowledge and Abilities
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Knowledge in various mental health disorders and stability interventions
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish/maintain satisfactory working relationships
- Broad knowledge of mental health community resources.
- Demonstrate ability to use computers and associated equipment
- Knowledge in family life cycle, systems theory and family violence theory
- Ability to provide public/educational presentations
- Ability to provide evidence based clinical counseling for conventional treatment
- Ability to develop and/or gather educational and/or therapeutic materials
- Crisis intervention
