Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The Class 1 Truck Driver will be responsible for operating a Super B or Auger Truck or Box Truck, transporting feed for livestock from our feed mill in Bruno, SK to farms in Saskatchewan & Alberta. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting our feed to various destinations while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, vehicle maintenance, and efficient route management.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial trucks to deliver freight across designated routes, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to feed safety and compliance.
Handle paperwork such as bills of lading, delivery receipts, and other transportation-related documents.
Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety
Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle records, and compliance documentation
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
Assist with automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical problems as needed
Secure cargo properly to prevent it from shifting or sustaining damage during transit.
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary
Receive and relay information to the central dispatch/mill manager.
Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
