We are seeking a passionate & experienced Childcare Director to lead one of the Childcare Centres in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will be well versed in the applicable federal & provincial legislation & agreements in place for the safety & management of childcare centers such as the Child Care Regulations, 2015 as well as Section 14 of the regulations, Philosophy & Program.

Job Description:
1.Accountable for day-to-day operations & decision making for a center serving approximately 80 children.
2.Accountable for overseeing approximately 20 staff, & for the successful delivery of a high-quality early learning programming for children, while implementing the vision & principles of Play & Exploration such as: Early Learning Program Guide & the JUS Philosophy.
3.Responsible for ensuring all YMCA Playing to Learn program requirements are met while complying with the Ministry of Education Regulations & National YMCA Child Protection Standards.
4.Supports the professional development of employees & requires expertise, experience & skill with early learning principles & adult learning, in order to provide leadership & ensure positive outcomes for children.

Job Requirements:
1.ECE Level III Certification preferred or ECE Level II with a commitment to further education.
2.Minimum 3-5 years childcare experience & managing a team.
3.Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills.
4.Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
5.Current Standard First Aid, CPR
6.Play & Exploration Training an asset
