Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, the Emergency Medical Services EMTA/ICP Coordinator is an integral member and leader for front line staff, coordinating operational resources effectively and efficiently, ensuring established policies, procedures and work standards are followed as well as ongoing mentoring and coaching of personnel. As a member of the front-line team, this position is responsible for scene management and support to patients, families and staff. They may also provide occasional support or input o provincial initiatives.

Experience
- Minimum of two years' experience as a practicing Primary Care Paramedic.
- Experience in adult education
Education
- Intermediate Care Paramedic Certificate (ICP)
Licenses
- Intermediate Care Paramedic Certificate (ICP)
- Valid Class 4 driver's license
Competencies
- Interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates word processing skills using Microsoft Office programs
- Supervisory skills
- Intermediate Computer Skills
Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge of legislation, protocols & scope of practice applicable to EMS in SK
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing workload
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Familiar with the SK Ministry of Health Ambulance Information System.
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
