KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Respond quickly to emergencies such as water, fire, and smoke damage, assess damage and assign tasks to technicians
Carry out all restoration work, water, fire, mold remediation in accordance with IICRC guidelines and company policy
Provide on site leadership and mentorship to technicians
Ensure all work situations are safe and company policy is adhered to
Ensure all vehicles are appropriately equipped and stocked with equipment and consumables
Ensure shop bay is kept in an orderly, professional fashion and ensure that an adequate stock of all consumables is maintained
Ensure paperwork/record keeping for all jobs is up to date and accurate
Ensure all equipment is clean and sanitary
Ensure PPE is available and properly used by technicians
Must be able to carry out all aspects of restoration work consistently without supervision and record activity accurately
May be called upon to carry out other leadership duties as required including intake of after-hours emergency calls
Read, understand, and comply with all client general and safety policies, procedures, and practices
SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Industry experience preferred, but not required
Current IICRC tickets are a strong asset
Able to work and lead efficiently and effectively in a team environment
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Great attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
Strengths in multi-tasking and prioritizing
Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
Must be willing to submit to criminal background check
MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Must be able to work in all types of conditions
Must be able to work Monday through Friday and on call hours ( evenings and weekends) as determined by business necessity
The position will require mandatory on-call, overtime and weekend
