Description

The Ministry of Social Services supports positive outcomes for people through income assistance, child and family services, disability supports, and affordable housing. We work with individuals and communities as they build economic independence, strong families, and strong organizations. We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as Child Protection Workers in a Northern location with a flexible work rotation. In this role, you will deliver protective, preventative, and supportive services to children and families using the Family Centred Case Management Model. This position offers a Drive In/Drive Out schedule in Buffalo Narrows over a fourweek cycle, working 11hour days from Monday to Saturday with scheduled days off. While on location, you may provide evening Emergency Duty Work when required. Travel time to and from Buffalo Narrows may be compensated, and staff housing may be available. A valid Saskatchewan drivers license is required, as the role involves travel, flexible hours, and transporting children or parents within the region. Applicants must clearly outline how they obtained their knowledge, skills, and abilities. A Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Indian Social Work, or equivalent degree from an accredited university approved by the CASSW is required. While increasing Indigenous representation is a priority, all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
