Keep staff education classes that are mandatory up to date.

Order door name plates and staff name tags.
Show home to families that are wanting a care home for their family.
Explain how the care home works and what is included.
Go over the resident's personal charts. Keep updated with info.
Do care plans every 6 months or a change in the resident.
Keep in contact with families regarding their family member if seen by dr.
Do dr. Rounds and explain resident issues.
Order prescriptions from the pharmacy as per dr.
Order supplies for residents from pharmacy.
Go over charting by staff.
Provide educational material for the job in the carehome for staff.
Sign up staff for educational classes outside the home job-related.
Monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, fridges, er lighting, freezers.
Contact yearly inspectors for an inspection date.
Have certificates filed.
