Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager, the Psychologist Masters - Senior will provide pediatric psychology services to children and youth referred through Pediatric Inpatient and Outpatient services at JPCH and the Department of Child Psychiatry. Clinical services will include psychological assessments, and treatment. The incumbent works as part of an interdisciplinary team in the context of a range of services to children who are experiencing significant distress or dysfunction related to acute and chronic illness, mental disorder, trauma, cumulative stress and/or problems in daily living. They are responsible for monitoring psychological testing and treatment. The incumbent must be able to work with minimal supervision in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members and relevant community stakeholders. The incumbent will provide clinical supervision. The incumbent will provide input into program development, planning and evaluation. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
