Description

Eagle Heart Centre operates a specialized youth home supporting young people navigating complex mental health and addictions challenges. This is the first program of its kind in Saskatchewan to combine structured residential care, trauma-informed practice, harm reduction, and culturally grounded supports within one environment.
Youth served in this home present with complex needs. Many have experienced significant trauma, instability, system involvement, and substance use challenges. The work is relational, structured, and at times high intensity. This program is not traditional group home care. It is stabilization-focused, boundary-driven, and accountability-based.  We are seeking Youth Home Workers who are confident, emotionally regulated, and capable of working within a structured therapeutic model. Reporting directly to the Team Lead with overarching accountability to the Executive Director, this role delivers culturally safe, trauma-informed, and youth-centered services that align with Eagle Heart Centres mission, vision, and universal competencies.

Maintain physical and emotional safety of youth at all times
Implement structured routines and stabilization plans
Respond to behavioural, emotional, and addiction-related crises
Apply trauma-informed and harm reduction principles
Support youth in reconnecting with identity, culture, and community
Complete timely, professional documentation
Participate in case planning, debriefs, and team collaboration
Maintain a clean, structured, and respectful home environment
Provide Criminal Record Check
Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable insured vehicle
