Description

Position Summary:
Nest Health Centre is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Office Assistant to oversee the daily operations of our growing multidisciplinary medical facility. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing both administrative and operational functions while ensuring a smooth, patient-centered care experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the medical facility, including scheduling, billing, and record-keeping.

Provide leadership, supervision, and support to administrative and clinical staff.


Coordinate patient appointments and ensure timely, efficient patient flow.

Maintain and optimize the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and security.

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to improve workflow and patient care delivery.

Monitor clinic performance, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy standards, and safety protocols.

Oversee supply chain and inventory management of medical and office supplies.

Develop and implement clinic policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.

Act as the main point of contact for internal and external communications.


Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field (preferred).
Previous experience in healthcare or clinic management strongly preferred.
Knowledge of billing processes, healthcare compliance, and EHR systems.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and medical management software.
