Description

Qualifications
-Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
-Industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Security+, or BICSI.
-Minimum 4 years of professional network administration experience.
Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), DHCP, DNS.
-Strong expertise in network security technologies, cloud networking, and hybrid environments.
-Proficiency with VoIP systems and protocols (SIP, RTP).

The Suitable Candidate Will Be Able to
-Install, configure, administer, monitor, maintain, and document enterprise network infrastructure (switches, routers, wireless systems, SD-WAN, VoIP, UPS, hybrid Azure environments).
-Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, MFA, zero-trust principles, vulnerability assessments, patch management, security monitoring).
-Deploy, administer, and support VoIP systems, including call routing, extensions, voicemail, paging, and mass notification services.
-Design and implement Ethernet and fiber-optic cabling infrastructure in accordance with BICSI standards.
-Support the design, deployment, and maintenance of surveillance, environmental monitoring, and power protection systems.
-Ensure proper collection and transmission of surveillance footage in compliance with LA FOIP requirements.

Working Conditions
-8 hours/day, occasional after-hours work required for maintenance or emergencies.
-the ability to occasionally lift or exert force up to 80 lbs, frequently lift or exert force up to 40 lbs, and regularly lift or exert force up to 15 lbs.
-Hybrid work environment with remote troubleshooting responsibilities.
