Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Sales
Drive demand for proprietary and emerging products; meet growth targets.
Train and coach sales reps on product knowledge and agronomy events.
Identify new markets and collaborate with Agronomy Manager.
Coordinate agronomy tours, meetings, and promotional events with Marketing.
Maintain supplier relationships for support.
Agronomy & Area Support
Manage AgProve Trial Program and support field trials.
Assist ACEs and Agronomists with planning, planting, and harvesting showcase plots.
Develop agronomy training plans and checklists for sales teams.
Share industry trends with teams and customers.
Evaluate sales data and identify profit opportunities.
Industry Liaison
Maintain relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and industry contacts.
Stay updated on new products and competitor activity.
Expectations
Deliver engaging presentations and maintain professionalism.
Work effectively remotely and collaborate virtually.
Participate in research trials and ensure accurate data collection.
Travel regularly to 17 retail locations in SK and AB.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Agriculture (or diploma + experience).
7+ years in agronomy and sales.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Registered or eligible with Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists.
Valid Class 5 drivers license.
Other Requirements
Physically fit: lift 50 lbs, climb machinery, work in field conditions.
