Description

Invites applications for the position of a regular full-time Head Caretaker at Venture Heights Elementary School.  The successful candidate will be required to work 1.0 FTE or 40 hrs per week, performing general caretaking duties. Venture Heights Elementary School is a Kindergarten to Grade 8 School. The school is located in Martensville, SK which is 18 km from Saskatoon. This CUPE position begins February 2nd, 2026.  The starting salary for this position is $22.20 per hour.

Prairie Spirit School Division is the largest rural school division in Saskatchewan, with over 11,000 students and 46 schools located in 28 communities surrounding the City of Saskatoon, and including three First Nations and nine Hutterian communities.  Prairie Spirit has a dedicated team of professional and support staff serving pre-K to grade 12 students

Caretakers work closely school staff to maintain the school building to the highest standards possible.

Preference will be given to caretakers who:
Have training and/or experience in the caretaker field;

Value communication and collaborative relationships;
Are committed to being flexible in the workplace;
Are committed to positive working relationships.
