Description

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on technician to perform small engine repair and general shop maintenance. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engines (such as Honda gas powered engines, lawn mowers and similar equipment), as well as keeping the shop and shop yard clean, organized, and operating efficiently. The position also includes occasional hot shot runs and transporting equipment using medium-duty trailers.

This position would be perfect for a newly retired individual or an individual looking for a secondary place of employment that would like flexible hours. Hourly wage and work schedule negotiable depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair small engines and related equipment
Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tune-ups, etc.)
Maintain shop tools, equipment, and work areas
Assist with inventory organization and basic upkeep tasks
Perform occasional hot shot runs for parts, equipment, or deliveries
Safely tow and maneuver medium-duty trailers as needed
Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications:
Experience with small engine repair or strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to use hand and power tools safely
Valid drivers license and ability to pull medium-duty trailers. G endorsement is not mandatory but would be an asset for applicants
Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
