Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Drywaller to install, finish, and repair drywall in residential and/or commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate has experience measuring, cutting, hanging, taping, and finishing drywall to create smooth, durable surfaces ready for painting or finishing.  Location of work is Estevan and surrounding areas. Meals and accommodations covered by Employer. Salary dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities
Measure, cut, and install drywall panels on walls and ceilings
Secure drywall using screws, nails, or adhesives
Tape joints and apply joint compound to seams, corners, and fasteners
Sand and smooth surfaces to prepare for painting or finishing
Repair damaged drywall, including holes, cracks, and water damage
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
Install corner beads, trim, and other finishing materials
Maintain a clean and safe worksite
Collaborate with other trades to meet project timelines

Qualifications
Proven experience as a Drywaller or similar role
Knowledge of drywall materials, tools, and finishing techniques
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work overhead
Reliable transportation and punctuality

Preferred Skills
Experience with both residential and commercial projects
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Time management and problem-solving skills

Working Conditions

Exposure to dust and construction materials
Standing, bending, lifting, and climbing for extended periods
