Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Head Cashier at our Food Store location in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Grocery Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Lead a culture of safety and maximizing operational efficiency.
Completion of daily reports, cash ups and other administrative tasks.
Be present on floor to assist with customer questions, complaints, and comments.
Understand all areas of store operations and supervise the team in their daily duties.
Procurement, receiving and merchandising of product with focus on customer- friendly presentation.
Work with management to improve store efficiency.
Support and follow the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform all other Duties as assigned.

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:
You have a high school diploma; experience within the Cooperative Retailing System (CRS) would be considered an asset.
You have proven experience in cash handling, balancing tills, and completing end of day procedures.
You are confident with numbers and point of sale (POS) systems, comfortable handling large transactions.
You have proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
