We are seeking a technically skilled and environmentally focused individual who brings expertise in regulatory compliance, water quality, and environmental protection.

This role is responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with a range of water and environmental regulatory programs. Youll provide technical advice to stakeholders on the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of water and wastewater treatment facilitiesensuring safe drinking water and protecting the environment for Saskatchewan residents.

Daily work includes facility inspections, water quality testing, reviewing applications, issuing permits, and promoting education and compliance. Youll also support aquatic habitat protection, water rights licensing, and respond to system upsets, emergencies, and regulatory violations.

This is a fast-paced, high-pressure, and dynamic role where you will be challenged to balance competing

factors like financial constraints, operational capacity, and regulatory requirementswhile always prioritizing public and environmental health.

The successful candidate will have a degree in natural or physical sciences, environmental or civil engineering, integrated environmental sciences, biology, chemistry, or physicsor an equivalent combination of experience and trainingand 3 years of relevant experience.

This role is subject to a satisfactory criminal record check.
