MLCFA is seeking an energetic and friendly individual for the Position of Case Aid

The Case Aide will support Family Services staff with non-technical services, including transportation, home visits, supervision of parental visits, clerical support, and related duties to help strengthen families and protect children.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide transportation for children in care (appointments, placements, relocations).
Supervise and report on family/parental visitations.
Assist in home visits and protective services (may involve lifting/carrying children).
Complete reports, documentation, and clerical duties (filing, data entry, serving legal notices).
Support Resource Workers with foster parent training rooted in First Nation traditions.
Participate in case reviews and work collaboratively with staff and caregiver.
Education/training/experience in a human or social service setting.
Knowledge of the SK Child & Family Services Act and Bill C-92.
Understanding of mental health, addictions, and family impacts.
Knowledge of SDM system (asset).
Respect for and understanding of First Nation culture; Cree language an asset.
Strong written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Valid drivers licence and reliable vehicle; willing to work evenings/weekends.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
Must provide CPIC, Vulnerable Sector Check, and sign Code of Conduct.
