The position is located in Outlook Saskatchewan and it is for the 2026 aerial ag spray season from May to September 2026
The Base Manager will be an individual with aerial application experience as well as administration and base management experience.
be responsible to the Chief Pilot (located in Ontario) for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft dispatched from his/her base in Outlook SK;be responsible to the Operations Manager (located in Ontario) for matters concerning administration at his/her base (in Outlook SK) including invoicing, marketing, flight sheet returns and accounts payable;be responsible for the scheduling and assigning of duties to pilots at his/her base;be responsible for maintaining current pilot files on all permanent base pilots;maintain a close liaison with the PRM (Pest Management Regulatory Agency) and base AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer), if so assigned, to ensure maximum availability of the aircraft assigned to his/her base in Outlook, SK PIC- act as a licensed Pesticide Applicator (if a pilot) of company aircraft, assuming all the duties expected and required of a licensed Pesticide Applicator or (if not a pilot) facilitate the Pesticide Licensing training and the maintenance of that training for the duration of the season Draft and Maintain SOP for the running of the base as well as health and safety manual Training of a potential new base manager for the following season Ensure all employment documents are sent to head office in Ontario to be entered into the system in a timely mannerCoordinate with head office in Ontario to ensure all employment documents are complete and up to date Credit card reconciliations Coordinate with head office on base accounting and managing bill payments Coordinate with head office and manage invoicing for the Outlook, SK Base Coordinate with head office on HR. H&S, Flight Monitoring, License and tracking
