Description

Position Summary: We are seeking a young, vibrant, and success-driven individual to join our dynamic team for the position of Community Outreach Support Worker.

To further TAYFFIs mandate of empowering youth, particularly those from Black and other equity-deserving groups, the incumbent will advance TAYFFIs work of creating barrier-free access for key population youth to participate actively in the socioeconomic fabric of society.

This opportunity is a partnership between Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc. and LetsStopAIDSa national youth-HIV charity focused on empowering youth-led sexual health initiatives and fostering knowledge exchange and leadership.

As a member of TAYFFIs frontline team, they will support ongoing initiatives and bring new innovations to advancing TAYFFIs work in key aspects of access to employment for vulnerable youth, particularly those from key populations.

Success in this role means the ability of the incumbent to mobilize communities and inter-sectoral actions that respond to employment barriers and disproportionate access to healthcare support facing Black, racialized, and vulnerable youth in Saskatchewan, especially those living with HIV or susceptible to contracting HIV.

Eligibility: To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must
- be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, refugee/protected person;
- Youth between the ages 18  29 years;
- NOT currently employed or enrolled in an academic institution
