Job Description: HealthLine 811 is a technology rich, evolving provincial program that offers free, confidential health, mental health & addictions information and supportive telephone advice available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to all residents of Saskatchewan. Current services include health information, service referral, assessment and triage for inbound callers. HealthLine 811 outbound call service is expanding and new programs are being developed. HealthLine 811 Registered Nurses work in a team environment with Social Workers and Psychiatric Registered Nurses.

Experience
- Recent acute care experience.
- 5 years clinical experience using high levels of independent assessment skills.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Knowledge & Abilities:
- Working knowledge of computers and strong keyboarding skills, Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm
- Effective listening, assessment and communication skills are considered an asset in a telephone triage contact centre to assist callers in finding the most appropriate solution for their health concern
Other Education and Training
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
