In collaboration with families and our community partners, we have developed a variety of programs to foster Indigenous student belonging, participation and success. Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools offers a kindergarten to grade nine Cree Bilingual program at awsisak k-nmhtocik St. Francis, a core Michif language program at St. Michael School, cultural programming at Oskayak High School, a state-of-the-art fitness facility at E. D. Feehan Catholic High School, as well as a nationally recognized social pediatrics program at St. Mary's Wellness and Education Centre.
Applications for the positions of Elementary Principals, Elementary Vice Principals, High School Vice Principals are invited from Indigenous candidates, with duties commencing at the start of the 2025-2026 school year. Assignments will include choice placements at Indigenous and community schools in Saskatoon. These leadership positions will provide an exciting challenge for candidates who possess strong administrative, human relations, communication, curriculum and instruction skills.
Individuals applying for these roles should possess the following:
Strong knowledge and experience integrating instructional leadership principles
Understanding and experience with community integration
Demonstrated improvement of student learning outcomes
Extensive knowledge of strategies to support the retention and success of Indigenous students
Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate
Commitment to the ideals and principles of Catholic Education
Preference may be given to applicants who possess:
A post-graduate degree in education
Competency in an Indigenous language
