Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time Deli Clerk (2 positions) at our Food Store Location in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Deli Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points though various communication channels.
Slice, weigh, package, and label meats, cheese, and prepared foods.
Prepare deli trays, sandwiches, salads, and hot/cold grab-and-go items.
Maintain product displays and ensure shelves and cases are fully stocked.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Rotate stock, check product freshness, and remove outdated items.
Operate deli equipment safely (slicers, ovens, fryers, scales).
Assist with inventory counts and daily production sheets.
Keep work areas, counters, and equipment clean and organized.
Provide product recommendations and answer customer questions.
Perform closing and daily operational routines of the deli department.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
