Description

Livestock Services of Saskatchewan is a regulatory service organization, enforcing provincial legislation designed to protect the livestock industry. LSS provides service under 3 pillars  livestock inspection and investigation, administration of livestock dealer licensing, and management of the provincial livestock brand registry. With our deep-seated agricultural roots, we strive to deliver high-quality, efficient service to the provinces livestock producers, while also upholding high standards of regulatory integrity. With a Saskatchewan-wide network of seasoned staff operating from a variety of field locations, we have well positioned LSS to expand and enhance the level of commerce security we provide to the livestock industry.

The Regulatory Services Manager drives effective and efficient business services in collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer and Operations Manager, to achieve the strategic direction of LSS. You lead external relations with all industry stakeholder groups and are the LSS subject matter expert for all aspects of legal and regulatory responsibility. You translate this oversight into managing key projects and operational elements that interface with the internal Operations team, ensuring smooth delivery of services to all external groups. Leadership of LSS dealer licensing and brand registry functions, and direct oversight of that team member, are also within your scope. You are passionate about the livestock industry, driven to learn and grow in this role, and excited to contribute to the success of our organization.

A complete outline of responsibilities and qualifications for this position can be found on our site at lssc.ca/careers

If you thrive on meeting challenges, finding solutions, working in a unique culture and being part of small yet dynamic team, this is the role for you. In return, we offer competitive compensation, a comprehensive total rewards program, paid time off, and work-life flexibility.
