The Director of Sales & Patron Services is a senior leadership role responsible for growing Globe Theatres earned revenue and attendance, while stewarding meaningful, welcoming, and mission-driven patron experiences. Working at the intersection of commerce and culture, this role is designed for someone who deeply values the live artsespecially theatre, in a community and understands that audience development, artistic risk, and financial sustainability are interdependent. This position leads all sales activity across the organization, with a mandate to increase overall attendance and revenue through thoughtful strategy, deep knowledge of patrons, and rigorous analysis of sales and attendance data. Central to this work is the understanding that not all productions serve the same function: some introduce new audiences, some deepen relationships, some advance artistic or community priorities, and some generate significant revenue. Together, these form a long arc of audience growth and sustainability. The Director oversees the Box Office and Front of House functions, with direct reports including the Box Office Supervisor and Front of House Supervisor. They work closely with the Executive Director and Artistic Director to understand the intent, themes, and context of each seasons programming, and to translate that work clearly and compellingly to the public. This role also requires sensitivity to the unique character of Regina and Saskatchewan including its demographics, histories, communities, and relationship to live performance and the ability to connect Globe Theatres work to local audiences while situating it within the broader Canadian theatre landscape. This position is ideal for a leader who brings strong business acumen alongside a commitment to audience experience: someone who builds systems and teams, while also creating pathways for patrons to understand why the work on Globes stages matters.
