An exciting chance to work as a member of the Mill Engineering, Reliability and Asset Management group (MERA) at an operating uranium processing facility. Great hands-on engineering opportunity!
Responsibilities:
-Under the direct supervision of the Mill Engineer, the student will be responsible for engineering duties associated with the mill operation and optimization
-Duties shall consist of design, material selection, procurement, installation, and commissioning of mill equipment and supporting facilities
-Assist in technical troubleshooting, analysis and inspection of operational equipment
-Management of facility changes and supporting documents, completing drawings, quality documents, and mill master data up dates
-Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
-Currently enrolled in an engineering program with a preference for Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Process disciplines
-Ability to interact with the public and co-workers
-Effective oral and written communication skills
-Flexibility to adapt to changing objectives, based on the production requirements of the mill operations and maintenance groups
-Position requires a self-starting individual who is enthusiastic and passionate
Work Location & Schedule:
-McClean Lake
-14 day in/ 14 day out rotating schedule
-Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours may be required
