Prairie Meats is seeking a skilled and reliable Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Saskatoon. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems and equipment in our production facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations. The position will also perform maintenance on other food production equipment as required.
Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on refrigeration and other food production equipment; Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in refrigeration systems and other food production equipment; Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used; Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards; Assist with other maintenance tasks
Qualifications:Valid Refrigeration Technician certification (Red Seal or Apprentice Level 3); Previous experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration preferred; Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving abstract; Excellent communication and organizational skills; and preferrably located in Saskatchewan.
